This enhancement is being rolled out platform-wide this week. There's nothing you need to do to activate it—the functionality will automatically be available in your Figma workspace.
Simply duplicate your designs as you normally would, and you'll notice that translation keys remain connected without any additional steps.

We've implemented a data compression solution that means you can now merge branches for larger projects (such as those with 10,000+ translation keys across dozens of languages), without any problems.
